Behavior Chart
Purple- You're a fantastic role model today!
(This means the student showed excellent behavior today! They went out of their way to help others and acted as a leader today! They will receive one prizes from the prize box at the end of the day and a positive phone call home.)
Blue- You're an excellent listener!
(This means the student followed all directions today! They were great listeners and were well behaved today! They will receive one prize from the prize box at the end of the day and a sticker in their planner.)
Green- Good Job Today!
(This means the student tried hard today! They were not disruptive and got done what needed to be done! They will receive a sticker in their planner at the end of the day.) *Every student begins on green at the start of the day.
Yellow- Slow down and Think About it.
(This means the student had a little trouble focusing today. They were a little off task and disruptive. They will talk with me at the end of the day about how they can improve tomorrow.)
Orange- Lose a privilege.
(This means the student is having troubles listening. They were unfocused and did not do most of their work today. They will get a note sent home in their planner and will spend Free Friday, doing some school work.)
Red- Parent Contact.
(This means the student did not behave well today. They were disruptive and did not respect their classmates today. They will receive a call home to their parent/guardian and will be sent to a different room during Free Friday.)

There is a zero-tolerance for bullying in Ms. Chapman's classroom. We do not accept any form of bullying. If a student is caught bullying in the classroom, in the halls, or on school property, administration will be informed immediately.
For those students who did not drop below Green on the behavior chart for the week, we have Free Friday every Friday from 1:00-2:30. During this time, students are welcome to bring a treat for themselves while we watch a movie. If your child brings a drink, it must have a lid. I will provide popcorn for all the students that get to participate.
